I was going to wait until Wednesday to share this, but I just can’t wait.
My friend, fellow author and ER Nurse Jordyn Redwood, is going to start doing a twice-monthly guest post on my blog. And— get this– in her posts, she’s going to answer your medical-related questions about your kids. How cool is that? I’m calling it “The Christian Mama’s Guide to Keeping Your Kids Healthy Without Spending a Billion Dollars on ER Co-Pays” There are so many times something happens and I’m left wondering what to do, how to respond and whether I should get medical help or just give my kid some Tylenol. Jordyn is going to help us clear all that up.
Anyway, her first post on Wednesday is going to be about whether you should take your newborn outside for the first two months– which, I probably should have read four years ago when I decided it would be a good idea to take Kate to church when she was six days old and then proceeded to spend the next two weeks in the Children’s hospital. Anyhoo…
So, make sure to come back on Wednesday to read Jordyn’s first post. In the meantime, check out her amazing blog, Redwood’s Medical Edge where she helps novelists make sure their medical-related scenes and plots are medically accurate. Fascinating, right?
See you Tuesday… and then again on Wednesday!
P.S. If you have a question for Jordyn, post it here and I’ll send it to her.
