What you need:

  • construction paper (any 3-6 colors)
  • scissors
  • glue stick

What to do:

  1. Fold construction paper in half and cut out a half butterfly (I know, it’s hard, but let your kids help you)
  2. Open up
  3. Cut out small shapes–squares, circles, stars, hearts, lines– out of construction paper
  4. Have your kids glue the shapes onto the butterflies symmetrically so both sides match exactly.
